Izzo Law LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy embodies our commitment and outlines how we collect, use, and protect your Personal Information, particularly when you “opt in” to SMS text communications with us.
How we collect your Personal Information and what Information we collect.
We collect personal information such as your name and contact information (phone number and email) when you provide it to us as a prospective or existing client. This can occur via website forms, email correspondence, oral means (e.g. phone calls) and written documentation such as your retainer agreement.
In addition to the foregoing, to represent you and / or evaluate your case, we collect financial information regarding your loan payment history as well as your finances (salary, available capital, and expenses). Although it is necessary to collect this financial information, we neither use nor include such information in SMS text messaging communications.
You have the right to inquire about the Personal Information we have on file for you and to update or amend as necessary to ensure its accuracy.
How we use your Personal Information
Izzo Law LLC uses your Personal Information solely to evaluate your case and / or represent you in your legal matter. Neither Izzo Law LLC nor any of its agents sell your Personal Information to any third party.We shall not share your Personal Information with any third party for purposes unrelated to our current or prospective representation of you in your legal case unless we are required to do so by applicable law.
We may share your Personal Information (financial or otherwise) with our agents (i.e. consultants, of-counsel attorneys, and other agents) with whom we currently or may prospectively work to represent you in your legal case. If we share your Personal Information with such agents, their use and disclosure of your Personal Information will be subject to this Policy.
We may share your non-financial Personal Information with any third party that helps us provide the SMS text service as necessary to ensure operation of the service.
Izzo Law LLC and its agents may use SMS messages to:
-notify you of developments in your case;
-notify you of billing status;
-request that you contact us to discuss your case or provide us with any necessary information so that we can handle your case;
-schedule any teleconference or video conference to work on your case; and
-communicate among Izzo Law LLC and its agents regarding your case in like manner to the above points.
Message frequency may vary depending upon the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 30 SMS messages per week regarding follow up on developments in your case. Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending upon your carrier’s pricing plan. We do not send promotional text messages. SMS opt-in or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not being shared with any third party and affiliate company for marketing purposes.
SMS Terms & Conditions
1- SMS Consent Communication:
The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. If you provide us with a cell phone number and voluntarily agree (or “opt-in”) to receive SMS text messages, we and any of our agents may use your number to initiate and continue communicating with you via SMS text until you notify us of your desire not to receive SMS messages (“opt-out”) and your election to do so becomes effective as described herein.
2- Types of SMS Communications:
If you have consented to receive SMS text messages from Izzo Law LLC, you may receive messages to:
-notify you of developments in your case;
Example: “Hello, Izzo Law LLC has received new correspondence in your case. Please review the documentation we sent to your Email address on file. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time or HELP for assistance. For questions call (908) 641-9858. https://www.izzolawfirm.com”
-notify you of billing status;
Example: “Hello, Izzo Law LLC has sent your [Month] invoice to you. Please review the documentation we sent to your Email address on file and replenish your trust account as requested therein. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time or HELP for assistance. For questions call (908) 641-9858. https://www.izzolawfirm.com”
-request that you contact us to discuss your case or provide us with any necessary information so that we can handle your case;
Example: “Hello, Izzo Law LLC has received new correspondence in your case. Please review the documentation we sent to your Email address on file and contact us to discuss your case as soon as possible. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time or HELP for assistance. For questions call (908) 641-9858. https://www.izzolawfirm.com”
-schedule any teleconference or video conference to work on your case.
Example: “Hello, this is a friendly reminder from Izzo Law LLC of your upcoming call with us on [Date] at [Time]. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time or HELP for assistance. For questions call (908) 641-9858. https://www.izzolawfirm.com”
3- Message Frequency:
Message frequency may vary depending upon the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 30 SMS messages per week regarding follow up on developments in your case.
4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:
Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
5- Opt-In Method:
You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Izzo Law LLC by submitting an online form on our Contact page.
6- Opt-Out Method:
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list. Please note that the opt-out process may take up to 10 business days to become effective. During this period you may still receive SMS messages from us. Once your opt out is effective, we shall not send any further SMS messages to your number unless and until you opt in again.
